Key Responsibilities:
- Handle day-to-day accounting operations including journal entries, accounts payable, accounts receivable, bank reconciliations, and general ledger maintenance.
- Support monthly, quarterly, and annual book closure activities and assist in preparing financial statements, MIS reports, and schedules as per statutory and internal requirements.
- Ensure timely processing of vendor payments, employee reimbursements, and accounting of payroll entries in coordination with the HR team.
- Monitor and maintain records related to GST, TDS, PF, ESI, and other statutory compliances, and coordinate timely filings and payments as applicable.
- Assist during statutory, internal, and tax audits by preparing reconciliations, supporting documents, and required schedules.
- Maintain cash flow records, track fund movement, and support management in monitoring working capital and routine finance operations.
- Prepare account reconciliations, review ledger balances, and identify discrepancies for timely resolution.
- Support budgeting, expense tracking, and variance analysis to provide useful financial inputs to management.
- Help strengthen internal controls, improve accounting processes, and support implementation or effective use of ERP/accounting software.
- Coordinate with cross-functional departments for invoice processing, documentation, compliance inputs, and smooth financial operations.
